Off the Map

If perfect theology is so important to God, than why did He choose men like Abram and Moses? It seems that obedience and willingness is higher on His list. And guess what, after their encounters with Him, their theology changed a bit. So what does that say to me? Listen and obey, He will make me how He desires. It probably won't be what I expected. Should it? He's not tame is He? Our theological systems can be a box that inhibits us sometimes from going where He desires to take us. Like Abram, I'm for "off the map".
