Fight the good fight

John 16:33 "These things I have spoken to you, that in Me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation; but be of good cheer, I have overcome the world."
There are a lot of things in our culture, in politics, and in our days that are taking place. A lot of things that are out of our control. There are things that have happened, and that continue to happen that have powers and forces behind them that most of us are unaware. There is uncertainty in our economy. There are job loses and homicides and thefts. There are so many things happening, and it is very easy to be swept away in a spirit of indignation, and of fear. But one thing to remember, if you are a son of God is this, we are not stationed here for good. All these things will one day pass. Remember, our contentment, and or happiness, should never be contingent on our circumstances or our surroundings. We have been given the power through Messiah to overcome the world.1 John 4:4 You are of God, little children, and have overcome them, because He who is in you is greater than he who is in the world. Keep the big picture in mind. Some day soon the King of Kings will return to take his rightful position as ruler of this world. It is our duty as faithful servants and soldiers to not give up the fight, stand strong, and be faithful until the very end. It will all be worth it. Don't let the enemy's snares, luxuries, and pleasures side track you from the goal. 2 Tim 4:7 I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith. Use the equipment that has been provided you, (Eph 6:10-20)and by all means keep the enemy as the enemy and stop stabbing and tearing down, and pulling back the fellow soldiers and travelers that are serving the same King. Keep going and doing what the King has ordered not what those around you try to tell you. Because there are those who appear to be on the right side, but are actually wolves in sheep's clothing (Matt 7:15). Keep up the good fight so that you can hear the words that Christ will speak to those who have fought well, "well done thou good and faithful servant".
